What's the Difference Between Laser, Machine and Hand Engraving?
Machine, laser and hand engraving are three different methods that can be used to engrave a piece of jewelry. Even though all three can be used to personalize jewelry with inscriptions, the end results of each are aesthetically different.
With machine and laser engraving, highly specialized power tools are used to add personalizations onto a piece of jewelry. For Machine engraving, a handheld tool is used to make carvings on the jewelry’s surface. In the case of laser engravings, a high power laser is used instead. Note that with laser engravings, the high temperature of the laser “inscribes’ the inscription more so than it being carved – this leads to a more uniform, sterile like aesthetic. Compared to hand engraving, these two mechanized forms of engraving produce highly accurate, clean and concise inscriptions on a piece of jewelry. If you’re looking for a more “artful”, novel looking finish, hand engraving is the way to go.
Hand engraving, as the name suggests, is more of an art than the other two methods. Each inscription done by hand, leading to each carve being incredibly unique. This means that no two hand engraving jobs are the same. The end result of hand engraving is an inscription with an art like aesthetic that is one of a kind.

What can I get engraved on my Jewelry?
As long as there is enough space, we can engrave names, numbers, quotes and even intricate designs onto your jewelry. Getting something specific done may limit the type of engraving you can do, so in these cases its best to contact us for a free consultation where we can suggest the best type of engraving for your situation.
What kinds of jewelry can you engrave?
We can engrave on any kind of precious metal jewelry as long as there is ample space to engrave on. Besides having space, what we can be realistically engraved depends on if the space to be engraved is reachable or not.
Some examples of jewelry that we engrave are rings, bracelets, pendants, bangles, anklets, charms, dog tags, etc.
